AorTech International plc ('the Company') announces that it received
notification yesterday from Union Investment Management Limited that Erudite
Limited, a company wholly owned by Mr Peter Gyllenhammar, purchased 95,500
Ordinary Shares in the Company on Thursday 26 August 2004.


Silverslaggan AB, also a wholly owned company of Mr Peter Gyllenhammar, has
transferred its shareholding of 294,713 Ordinary Shares in the Company to
Erudite Limited.  As a result Silverslaggan AB no longer holds any shares in the
Company.


Following these transactions, Mr Peter Gyllenhammar is now interested in a total
of 427,213 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 11.21% of the issued
Ordinary Share capital of the Company.  All of these shares are now held by
Erudite Limited, a wholly owned company of Mr Peter Gyllenhammar.
