ATA Group Plc - Director resignation

Group Finance Director Peter McWeeney has resigned with effect from close of
business on 26th April 2002 to take up an appointment geographically more
convenient to his home in South West London.

The Finance Director Board level responsibilities are to be processed by the
Group Company Secretary appointed in 2001 and the finance function will report
to the Board through J.R.Hustler, the Group Deputy Chairman.
