                            Director's Shareholding

ATA Group plc ('the Company') announces that it was notified on 22 June 2005
that Andrew Bailey, a director of the Company, bought 10,000 ordinary shares in
the capital of the Company at a price of 105* pence per share on 22 June
2005.  Following this purchase, Andrew Bailey is now interested in 31,000
ordinary shares, representing 0.4% of the Company's issued share capital.
