The Company received notification on 29th March 2001 in accordance with the
Companies Act 1985 (as amended) that Schroder Investment Management Limited
and their subsidiary and affiliated companies have a notifiable interest in
54, 009, 264 Ordinary Shares of 10p each of the Company ('Shares') which
represents 12.438% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
