Electrocomponents plc Long Term Incentive Plan
The Company was informed on 21 November 2000 that Electrocomponents Employee
Trustees (Jersey) Limited, trustee of the discretionary trust established to
facilitate the operation of the Electrocomponents plc Long Term Incentive Plan
purchased 2,515 shares at 700p per share on 17 November 2000 and 347,485
shares at 700p per share on 21 November 2000, together representing less than
0.1% of the issued share capital of the Company. 388,021 shares are now held
by the Trust, which represents less than 0.1% of the issued share capital of
the Company.
As potential beneficiaries of the Trust, Mr JL Hewitt, Mr RA Lawson, Mr I
Mason and Mr RB Butler executive Directors of the Company, are considered to
have an interest in the shares held by the Trust. No awards to Directors under
the Long Term Incentive Plan are being made at this stage.
