                    Results of Rights Issue
                               
As  announced on 19 April 2000 the Company's 17 for  2  rights
issue  of  50,233,402 ordinary shares of 5 pence each ('Rights
Shares') at 5.5 pence per Rights Share closed at 3:00pm on  18
April  2000.  29,135,708 Rights Shares  were  taken  up  which
represents an aggregate take up of 58 per cent.

On  20  April  the  remaining 21,097,694  Rights  Shares  were
allocated to the underwriter, The Alpha Capital Limited.
