                              BOARD APPOINTMENTS

The Company is pleased to announce two new board appointments. Ruby Lee and
Duncan Tak Kwong were both appointed executive directors of the Company on 11
September 2001.

Ruby Lee, aged 39, is a law graduate from The University of Singapore, and is
called to the Singapore Bar. She also holds a Masters in Law from the London
School of Economics, University of London. Ms Lee leads the Legal and Company
Secretarial team of The Grande Group and prior to joining The Grande Group she
was in legal practise.

Duncan Tak Kwong Hon, aged 41, is a Certified Public Accountant, a fellow of
the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, United Kingdom and a
fellow of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants. He is also an executive
director of The Grande Group.
