                            Directors Shareholdings

The Company has been notified that on 20 July 2004, Mr George Kynoch and Mr
Keith Chapman each purchased 10,000 Ordinary Shares in EMS at 36p per share. In
each case this represents 0.09 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of
the Company.
