                       NewMedia SPARK plc ('the Company')

                    Warrant exercise and application to AIM


Pursuant to the exercise by HSBC Global Custody Nominee (UK) Limited, Clydesdale
Bank Custodian Nominees Limited and Barclayshare Nominees Limited of warrants
over 7,914 new ordinary shares of 2.5p each in the Company ('New Ordinary
Shares') at a price of 75p per share, the Company has issued and allotted the
New Ordinary Shares and applied for them to be admitted to the Alternative
Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. Such admission is expected to
become effective on Monday 15th September 2003.
