Application for additional new ordinary shares in SPARK ('new SPARK Shares')
issued on exercise of quoted warrants to subscribe ordinary shares in SPARK at
75p per share ('Quoted SPARK Warrants') to be admitted to AIM

The Board of SPARK announces that application has been made to admit a further
5687 new SPARK Shares to trading on AIM in respect of the exercise of Quoted
SPARK Warrants at 75p per share, notices of which were received from holders of
Quoted SPARK Warrants up to 26 July 2002. Admission is expected to take place on
7 August 2002.
