The Company was notified 16 November 2004 that JP Morgan Chase & Co. of 270 Park
Avenue, New York, USA and its affiliates have an interest in 15,243,507 fully
paid ordinary shares of no par value of the Company, representing approximately
8.66 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.

The Company was also notified on 15 November 2004 pursuant to applicable
Corporations Law in Australia, that AMP Limited ceased to be a substantial
holder in Roc Oil Company Limited.
