Transaction in Own Shares


Robert Walters Plc (the 'Company') announces that it purchased yesterday to be
held in treasury:

200,000 ordinary shares at a price of 135 pence per share.

The announcement the Company made on 9 September 2005 stated that the 100,000
shares purchased were for cancellation.  These shares were actually retained to
be held in treasury.


Therefore the Company currently has 84,731,927 ordinary shares of 20 pence in
issue.
