Robert Walters plc (the 'Company') announces that today, 9 October 2007, it
purchased for cancellation: 100,000 ordinary shares at an average price of
262.991 pence per share.


The Company additionally announces that today, 9 October 2007, 100,000 ordinary
shares held in Treasury will be cancelled. Following the above, the Company
holds 8,497,075 ordinary shares in Treasury with 85,819,236 ordinary shares in
issue.
