Robert Walters PLC ('the Company')

The Company received a notification from Mourant and Co Limited the trustees of
the Robert Walters PLC Employee Benefit Trust ('EBT') informing it that they
purchased 50,000 ordinary shares at 92p per shares.

The shares have been purchased to satisfy option awards under the Company's
share option incentive schemes. The EBT now own 4,002,901 shares representing
4.73% of the issued ordinary shares capital of the Company.

The announcement is made for Companies Act purposes, solely in the interest of
transparency due to the structure of the purchase arrangements and the
'potential' beneficial interests of the employees, former employees and
Directors of the schemes.
