Robert Walters PLC ('the Company')

The Company received notification that 'Mourant and Co Limited' as trustees of
the Robert Walters PLC Employee Benefit Trust ('EBT') informing it that they
have purchased 1,500,000 ordinary shares at 70p per shares & 484,640 ordinary
shares at 71p per share.

The shares have been purchased to satisfy option awards under the Company's
share option schemes.

The announcement is made for Companies Act purposes, solely in the interest of
transparency due to the structure of the purchase arrangements and the
'potential' beneficial interests of the employees, former employees and
Directors of the schemes.
