Robert Walters plc announces that 55,000 new ordinary shares of 20p each (the
New Ordinary Shares') have been issued and allotted following an exercise of
options by employees of the Company pursuant to the Company's Executive Share
Option Scheme.

Application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari
passu with existing ordinary shares, to be admitted to trading on the LSE, and
admission is expected to take place at 8 a.m. on 21 March 2005.
