RM selected to provide managed ICT services to Bradford BSF programme

RM has been selected to provide managed ICT services for Phase 3 of Bradford City Council's BSF (Building Schools for the Future) programme. RM will provide the services under contract to Integrated Bradford, the Local Education Partnership (LEP) responsible for delivering the City's BSF programme.

An initial five-year contract, covering four recently-built secondary schools and two new design and build Academies, is expected to be worth £13.3 million to RM. Phase 3 of Bradford's BSF programme also includes a further 15 schools, which will be contracted for separately.

RM will provide an innovative and flexible managed ICT solution, including implementation services, training, hardware, software and day-to-day management of the solution. Schools will receive a core solution including a learning platform, CC4 Anywhere, RM Easymail+ and Fuse software. In addition, schools have the choice of hardware solutions such as RM miniBooks & Apple iMac, and mobile presentation solutions including RM's Isis Concepts Vertable.

Terry Sweeney, Chief Executive of RM plc, said:

"It's great news that Bradford has chosen to go with us for Phase 3 of their BSF programme. We're particularly pleased that we've had the opportunity to join the programme at this stage. We've worked hard to put together an innovative solution for Bradford's schools and we're looking forward to working with Integrated Bradford to deliver 21st Century learning spaces that really make a difference for pupils."
