This briefing will include product demonstrations, a visit to the show and presentations from the Group's senior management. No update on trading will be given. A presentation will be available on www.rm.com/investors from 17:00 on Thursday 13 January 2011.

Commenting on BETT 2011, Terry Sweeney, Chief Executive of RM, said:

"BETT is a major meeting point for the international educational IT community with 30,000 visitors, over 20% of whom are from overseas. As always, it's a great opportunity to catch up with customers, meet leading members of the community, and set out our view of the future. This year, the international dimension is particularly important: there's a major international conference programme for BETT visitors and we're hosting a number of sessions for key policy makers.

"ICT remains a top priority for education professionals. Recent research we've performed with Naace and Intellect, shows that over 90% of educators think technology is an important teaching tool, and over 80% think it is important for engaging pupils and teachers outside the school. Over 60% of respondents said that their school could benefit from additional technology.

"We've got a huge amount on display at BETT 2011. As well as our very latest developments and the newest versions of our core products, the RM Labs team will be on hand to show visitors a glimpse of the educational ICT future, in particular the role of the 'cloud'. Recognising the very real pressures on schools budgets, this year we're also focusing on how schools can achieve more with less, in particular with our 'RM Essentials' products and a range of financing options.

"As we've done for a number of years we're also hosting a major hands-on learning event in Olympia 2, adjacent to the main show. The RM Learning Emporium shows our products and services in a 'real-school' context, with pupils and teachers on hand to demonstrate them in use. The Learning Emporium will also provide space for visitors to reflect on what they've seen at the show, discuss strategy with RM staff, or attend one on our specially-tailored seminars or consultation sessions."
