RM confirmed as ICT provider for phase 2 of Islington BSF programme

RM confirms that it has reached financial close on a contract to provide managed ICT services for phase 2 of the London Borough of Islington's Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme. The contract is expected to be worth up to £3.7m to RM over five years. RM will provide the services as part of Transform Schools, the Balfour Beatty consortium appointed to deliver Islington's BSF programme.

Phase 2 of Islington's BSF will provide new learning environments for two more schools in the Borough. RM will provide sophisticated ICT infrastructure, including interactive classroom technology, local networking, learning platform integration, VOIP telephony and cashless catering, supported by day-to-day management and support.

Terry Sweeney, Chief Executive of RM, said:

"I'm pleased that Islington has chosen RM, along with our Transform Schools partners, to deliver the next stage of its BSF programme. ICT is a fundamental part of the modern learning environment and we've worked hard to deliver inspiring and engaging ICT for pupils and teachers in Islington. We're looking forward to continuing with this work."
