                   RM plc Analyst's Site Visit to Abingdon


RM plc, the leading supplier of educational software, services and systems to
UK schools and colleges, is hosting a visit for investment analysts today
(Thursday 28 June 2001).

This will take place at the Group's head office in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
There will be presentations by senior management, including Richard Girling
(Chief Executive), Tim Pearson (Managing Director of RM Learning and Group
Technical Director) and Ian Todd (Managing Director of RM Schools).  Mike
Greig (Finance Director) will also be present.

The day's programme will include product demonstrations and a tour of the
site, and will cover:

*   RM Schools - the Group's core school business, which sells products such
    as RM Window Box and RM Community Connect and managed services to UK
    primary and secondary schools.  These products and services remain at
    the core of RM's school proposition, with the market access they offer
    providing a strong platform for the Group's other businesses.

*   RM Learning - the Group's digital learning resources business, which is
    responsible for all of RM's software and content activities.  This will
    include a demonstration of mathsALIVE!, the maths learning service that
    RM is developing for the DfEE and which is demonstrating considerable
    potential in pilot schools.

*   RM's continuing investment in its systems infrastructure and business
    processes to ensure enhanced levels of customer support.

The visit is intended to give analysts a more in-depth understanding of the
Group's businesses and no statement will be made on current trading.
