CALDWELL TO APPOINT NEW FINANCIAL DIRECTOR


Simon Cuffin-Munday, 43, to become Financial Director of Caldwell Investments
P.L.C., the ninaclip nursery products company, as David Thompson steps down.  
The change, effective from 1 January 2000 comes about as Caldwell moves its
financial management from Leeds to Manchester.

Mr. Cuffin-Munday has many years financial experience and has specialised in
the management of smaller enterprises.   He has recently completed an MBA, is
a Certified Accountant, and member of the Institute of Management.
