VIRIDAS TO SELL SKELMERSDALE PROPERTY
The board of Viridas Plc ('Viridas' or 'the Group') announces it has exchanged
contracts to dispose of the Group's warehouse premises at Skelmersdale,
Lancashire for £500,000. Completion is expected to take place at the end of
October. The freehold warehouse was used to house the Group's now discontinued
NinaSun garden furniture business.
The consideration will be settled in cash in full at completion. Viridas will
realise a book profit of £59,568 on disposal of the property. After repayment
of the outstanding mortgage over the property, the net proceeds of £200,000 will
be used to provide additional working capital and to fund the further
development of the Group's Jatropha biodiesel project in Brazil.
