Following a transfer of 2,680,000 RIT Capital Partners plc ('RITCP) ordinary
shares from an 'Equitable Unit Trust' to an 'Open Ended Investment Company',
the disclosable interest of The Equitable Life Assurance Society Group has
increased from 9,176,023 to 11,856,023 (7.56% of the issued ordinary share
capital of RITCP).
