Ricardo plc (the 'Company'), on 11 May 2006, received notification from AEGON UK
plc Group of Companies ('AEGON') that, as at 10 May 2006, AEGON no longer has a
notifiable interest in the relevant issued share capital of the Company.
Following the disposal of 500,000 ordinary shares, AEGON's resulting holding was
1,130,088 ordinary shares.
