                            Annual General Meeting
                                       

Ricardo plc ('Ricardo'), the UK's leading independent automotive and
powertrain engineering consultancy, held its Annual General Meeting this
morning.

Commenting on trading, Sir Noel Davies, Chairman of Ricardo said the
following:

'I stated at the time of the Preliminary Results on 18 September that I was
optimistic about the future for Ricardo.  With four months of trading
completed, I am pleased to report that the situation remains unchanged and we
continue to expect to maintain profitable growth for the foreseeable future.'
