Significant contract win with the BBC

Restore wins largest contract in its history

Restore (AIM: RST), the UK's leading provider of digital and information management and secure lifecycle services, is pleased to announce that the Group has signed a contract with the UK's national broadcaster, the BBC. The contract is to manage the BBC's archive of entertainment related assets, with an expected value of £22 million over ten years. The contract award is the largest in Restore's history.

The BBC's archive consists of approximately 10.2m archived assets made up of a number of distinct collections which currently take up a total of 74,000 linear meterage of storage in temperature controlled vaults. The assets consist of audio, moving images, photographic stills, vinyl, and sheet music collected over the last century.

Restore will build a dedicated vault in one of the Group's existing facilities (which will be the size of c.250k equivalent storage boxes) and then throughout 2023 manage the migration of the assets from an existing BBC facility. In addition to Restore Records Management (part of the Digital and Information Management division) providing the long-term storage, manage and retrieval services, Restore Harrow Green (part of the Secure Lifecycle Services division) will manage the migration project to plan, manage and migrate the collections from the BBC's existing facilities. This combination of services with two of Restore's business units coming together was instrumental in winning the contract with the BBC and demonstrates the Group's ability to offer a unique full service data management solution to its customers.

CHARLES BLIGH, CEO, COMMENTED:

"I am delighted the BBC has awarded Restore the contract to manage its archive of assets which are incredibly important to the whole nation. It is the largest contract win in the Group's history with an anticipated value of £22m over ten years.

"This contract win demonstrates not only the Group's preeminent position in the market, bringing large, long-term and essential services to our customers, but also Restore's ability to effectively combine our Digital and Information Management and Secure Lifecycle Solutions to offer a compelling proposition to gain the trust of customers like the BBC and win in the market.''
