                               Holding in Company

The Company was informed today that on 12 March 2003, Standard Life Investments
purchased 35,000 ordinary shares of 12.5p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares
') on behalf of Standard Life Group. As a result of this purchase, Standard Life
Group now has an interest in 1,693,799 Ordinary Shares, representing 7.11% of
the Company's issued ordinary share capital.  The registered holder of the above
interest is Stanlife Nominees Limited.
