Radstone Technology PLC 14 January 2003 Radstone Technology PLC Nomination of New Finance Director At the last Annual General Meeting, I outlined the Board changes that are planned to follow the retirement in September 2003 of Charlie Paterson, the Company's Group Managing Director In particular, I indicated that Jeff Perrin, currently Finance Director, would be appointed Group Managing Director and that a new Finance Director would be selected from outside the Company. I am pleased to announce that Mr Kevin Boyd has agreed to join the Company as Finance Director-Designate. Kevin is currently Finance Director of Siroyan Limited, a venture-capital backed start-up company specialising in the Digital Signal Processing area. Kevin graduated in 1986 from Queen's University, Belfast, with a first class honours degree in Electronic and Information Engineering. He held a series of semiconductor product design roles within Marconi and Pioneer before moving in 1992 to Arthur Anderson, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He joined the TI Group in 1996 and progressed through a number of senior financial positions, latterly as Finance Director and Company Secretary of Fosheda UK Limited. He joined Siroyan Limited in 2000. I am delighted that we have been able to recruit a candidate of Kevin's industry background and commercial experience. He will add considerable value to the Radstone team.
