                    Radstone Technology PLC (the "Company")


The Company was informed on 9 January, 2003 that the Trustees of the Radstone
Technology PLC Share Incertive Plan (the "Trust"), purchased 3,386 ordinary
shares of 12.5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of £2.82 per
share on 8 January, 2003.  Following this purchase the Trust now holds 80,378
Ordinary Shares, representing 0.34% of the issued ordinary share capital of the
Company.

All employees of the Company, including the executive directors, are potential
beneficiaries of the Trust.
