                     Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The board of Radstone Technology PLC is pleased to announce that Sir Alan Thomas
B.Sc, C.Eng, FIEE, FCMA, C.I.Mgt has been appointed to the Board as a
Non-Executive Director with immediate effect and will stand for re-election by
shareholders at this year's AGM.

Sir Alan (61) during 1985 to 1989 was President and Chief Executive Officer of
Raytheon Europe and a Vice President of the Raytheon Corporation. From 1989 to
1994 he was Head of Defence Export Services Organisation, M.O.D.

He is Chairman of a number of companies including Three Valleys Water plc, Hyder
Consulting plc, Chelverton Asset Management and is Chairman of the University of
Westminster and non-executive director of London Welsh RFC Ltd.
