                                Trading Statement

City Centre Restaurants plc is pleased to report that it has enjoyed an
encouraging second half year.

Trading in December, traditionally an important month for the Group, was
particularly buoyant and the Company anticipates reporting, in due course, that
the result for 2002 will be in line with market expectations.
