Employee Benefit Trust

The Restaurant Group plc has been advised by the trustees of The Restaurant Group Employee Benefit Trust (the potential beneficiaries of the trust being certain employees of The Restaurant Group plc including directors and PDMRs of the Company) that on 8 April 2013, the Trust acquired 500,000 shares at a price of 455p each.

The Employee Benefit Trust now has a beneficial interest in 2,559,213 ordinary shares representing 1.3% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
