The Restaurant Group plc has been advised on 15 September 2004 that Mr A M
Jackson, a director, has exercised options to subscribe for 800,000 ordinary
shares at 45p per share on 15 September 2004. Following the exercise, Mr Jackson
has then sold 640,979 ordinary shares at 99p per share.
