  Change of name from City Centre Restaurants plc to The Restaurant Group plc

Further to the announcement made on 14 January 2004, the Company can confirm
that the change of name has taken effect and that City Centre Restaurants plc
has been renamed The Restaurant Group plc. In addition, the Stock Exchange
mnemonic has today changed from CTC to RTN.
