                                Board Changes

In line with the recent restructuring which has taken place, the Board of City
Centre Restaurants announces the following Board changes:


By mutual agreement with the Board, John Wittich has resigned as Finance
Director. The announcement of the appointment of a new Finance Director will
be made shortly.


The Board is pleased to announce that Mr Andrew Thomas has been appointed a
Non-Executive Director of the Group. Aged 58, Andrew is a leading industry
operator with over 30 years experience in the leisure retailing sector. Until
his retirement in February 2000, he was Executive Chairman of The Greenalls
Group plc ('Greenalls'). He joined Greenalls as a Non-Executive Director in
1971, becoming Managing Director in 1980 and Chairman in 1992. During this
time, he oversaw a period of enormous change, seeing Greenalls go full circle
from a Regional Brewer Company to a National Licensed Retailer, and finally to
a focused Hotel and Leisure Operator.


Andrew is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Homeform Group plc, a
Non-Executive Director of JJB Sports plc, together with a number of non-quoted
companies, and a Partner in Moors, Andrew Thomas and Company, Chartered
Accountants.
