                              Purchase of Shares

Reliance Security Group plc (the 'Company') announces that today Tony Hales, a
non-executive director of the Company, bought 4,000 ordinary shares in the
Company at a price of 555p per share. Mr Hales' resultant holding is 4,000
shares which represents 0.017 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
