          RELIANCE SECURITY WINS FIVE YEAR CONTRACT WITH BAE SYSTEMS



The directors of Reliance Security Group plc are pleased to announce that
Reliance Security Services Limited has been appointed by BAE Systems to
provide a total security solution through a range of manpower services and
Patrol Net response vehicles, at all major locations across the U.K.

This unique partnership follows a year of extensive co-operation and
feasibility studies, culminating in Reliance being awarded sole supplier
status for a five year contract estimated to be worth in excess of £50
million. The contract will be brought on stream progressively over the next 12
months.

Commenting on this significant new business, Reliance Security Services
Chairman, Ken Allison said, 'I am delighted that we have been awarded this
prestigious new contract. BAE Systems are industry leaders with complex and
demanding security requirements. This long term relationship will enable the
development of higher value added solutions'.
