Reliance Security Group PLC 04 November 2003 Reliance Security Group plc ('Reliance') Contract Award - Scottish Prison Service The Directors of Reliance are pleased to announce that Reliance Secure Task Management Limited, a wholly owned operating company, has been awarded a 7 year contract to provide prisoner escorting and court services to the Scottish Prison Service. The contract covers the whole of Scotland, including the Highlands and Islands, and is the largest of its type yet awarded in the UK. The service is scheduled to commence in April 2004 on a phased basis and will be fully operational by October 2004. The contract is expected to generate total turnover of approximately £150 million in today's terms and the contracting out of the service will enable up to 300 police officers in Scotland to return to frontline policing duties.
