Trading announcement to be made at today's annual general meeting


Revenue for the first three months of this current financial year has been above
that for the comparable period last year despite adverse currency movements; in
particular the US Dollar and Japanese Yen.

It is too early in the financial year to predict the outcome but, if the current
exchange rates are sustained, there will be an adverse effect on group profits
of an estimated £5 million for the full year.

Your Board, however, remains confident for the Group's future prospects.
