Jon Andrè Løkke (39) will take on the position as Senior Vice President in REC Wafer, with responsibility for the business development and the company's expanding operations within monocrystalline wafers. Løkke will also take on the responsibilities as deputy to EVP Einar Kilde in REC Wafer. Løkke will take full responsibility for the mono area, and be project owner and head of the steering committee for the ongoing expansion project. The main near-term focus will be to secure a successful ramp-up of the new plant throughout 2010. Løkke will also be responsible for the development and running of a new separate Business Development function in REC Wafer. Jon Andrè Løkke comes from the position as SVP and Investor Relations Officer in REC ASA, a position he has held since 2006. Løkke has been with REC since 2003.
