AGM Statement

At the Group's Annual General Meeting to be held today, Roy Harrison, Chairman
of Renew will say the following:

'I am pleased to report that trading for the first quarter of the year has been
satisfactory and that the Board remains confident of reporting results in line
with market expectations. The order book at 31 December 2007 remains strong at
£261m.

'In line with our strategy, management is continuing to pursue suitable
acquisitions to add to our Specialist Engineering business.

'I look forward to reporting on further progress at the time of the Group's
interim results, which will be announced on Tuesday 20 May 2008.'
