          Notification pursuant to s198 Companies Act 1985 ('the Act')


Following a sale by Allianz Cornhill Insurance plc ('Cornhill') of 4,665,000
ReNeuron Group Plc shares (registered in the name of Bank of New York (Nominees)
Limited) on 16th August 2006 we hereby notify you that Allianz AG and
subsidiaries (as detailed below) together with Cornhill no longer have an
interest in the issued share capital of your company.

Allianz AG is the ultimate holding company of Cornhill. The shares in Cornhill
are held by Allianz UK Limited, which is a direct subsidiary of Allianz Europe
Limited ('Allianz Europe') which is itself a 66.66% owned subsidiary of Allianz
AG. The other 33.33% of shares in Allianz Europe are owned by Allianz
Lebensvericherungs AG ('Allianz Leben'), a direct subsidiary of Jota
Vermogensverwaltungs GmbH ('Jota'), which is itself a direct subsidiary of
Allianz AG. As a result of s203(2) of the Act, Allianz UK Limited, Allianz
Europe, Allianz Leben, Jota and Allianz AG are no longer interested in the
ordinary shares in which Cornhill were interested.

This announcement is made by Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein Group Limited, an
indirect subsidiary of Allianz AG, on behalf of Allianz AG and its subsidiaries.
