HOLDING IN COMPANY

Redrow plc have today received notification from Fidelity Investments that the
notifiable interests of FMR Corp. and its direct and indirect subsidiaries,
Fidelity International Limited and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, and Mr
Edward C Johnson 3d (principal shareholder of FMR Corp. and Fidelity
International Limited) constitute 6.92% (10,957,431 ordinary shares) of the
issued ordinary share capital of Redrow plc.
