Redrow plc on the 12 September 2001 received notification from Deloitte & Touche
on behalf of Mr Stephen Peter Morgan (Mr Morgan) and Mrs Pamela Elaine Morgan 
(Mrs Morgan) that the beneficial ownership of 7.6 million ordinary shares in the
Company changed from Mr Morgan to Mrs Morgan.  Mr Morgan's beneficial ownership 
now constitutes 15,210,155 ordinary shares being 9.6% of the issued share 
capital of Redrow plc and Mrs Morgan's beneficial ownership now constitutes 
7,600,000 ordinary shares being 4.8% of the issued share capital.
