Mr Greg Locke is resigning as a director of Redrow plc with effect from 3rd
January 2003.  He leaves after 12 years service and has been a Main Board
director for 6 years, currently having joint responsibility for the Southern
Region of the Group.

Mr Robert Jones, Chairman, commented 'Greg leaves the Group having made a
significant contribution to the business.  We wish him well for the future'.
