DIRECTORS SHAREHOLDING

On 11th July 2006 Redrow plc ('the Company') was advised by Paul Louis Pedley, a
director of the Company, that he had sold 150,000 shares in the Company at a
price of £5.006p per share such that his beneficial holding in the Company now
stands at 500,000 ordinary shares.

The Company was also advised on the same date by Colin Edward Lewis, a director
of the Company, that he had sold 10,000 shares in the Company at a price of
£4.993p per share such that his beneficial holding in the Company now stands at
62,021 ordinary shares.
