DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING


On 6th January 2006 Redrow plc ('Redrow') was advised that Paul Pedley (a
director of Redrow) had exercised his option to buy 12,593 Redrow 10p ordinary
shares under the 2001 Halifax Save As You Earn Scheme at the option price of one
pound thirty four pence (£1.34) and that his beneficial holding in Redrow now
stands at 662,593.
