Red Rock Resources plc 22 May 2007 RED ROCK RESOURCES PLC Trading Update Dated: 22 May 2007 Red Rock Resources plc ('Red Rock' or the 'Company') the mineral exploration and development company focused on advancing iron ore, uranium and manganese projects in Australia and East Africa, announced on 16 April that it had entered into an agreement with Chiman Manufacturing Ltd ('Chiman') for toll processing of manganese in Zambia to produce ferromanganese (the 'Agreement'). The Agreement becomes effective upon first delivery of manganese ore to the Chiman ferromanganese plant. Detailed planning is proceeding, and the Company will make an announcement when manganese deliveries begin. On 11 May the Environmental Council of Zambia closed the Chiman plant pending compliance with an enforcement notice issued on 26 March, compliance not having been undertaken at the time of the Council's inspection. Chiman management states that it has the necessary equipment on site and installation has now begun. Completion of the remedial work is expected within a month. Upon commencement of operations under the Agreement, the Company will work with Chiman to ensure continuing compliance with acceptable health and safety and environmental standards.
