Directors' Notification of Dealing in Shares

On 15 August 2000 the Trustees of the Reckitt & Colman Qualifying Employee
Share Ownership Trust established under a Trust Deed dated 24 September 1998
and operated through the company Reckitt & Colman QUEST Trustee Limited
transferred a further 215 Ordinary shares (representing a total of 3535 in
this exercise)to participants in the Reckitt Benckiser Savings-Related Share
Option Scheme.

All Directors of Reckitt Benckiser plc who are members of the Scheme are
deemed to be interested in the shares held in the QUEST by virtue of being
potential beneficiaries and disclose such interest in the shares of the
Company.
