Real Good Food plc (AIM:RGD), the food manufacturing business specialising in cake decoration, announces that Gail Lumsden, has notified of her intention to step down from her role on the board, as independent non-executive director, to dedicate time to other non-executive commitments.  It is the intention that Gail will leave the Board by the end of February, giving time for a replacement independent Director to be appointed.  Gail has served three years as a non-executive director during a period of significant change for the Group. The search process to find a replacement has been initiated.

Mike Holt, Executive Chairman, commented:

"On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Gail for her contribution and independence during a period of significant change for the Group and for her support in navigating through the Covid years and the successful refinancing announced last week. Going forward, the focus continues to be to deliver radical reform to make the business sustainable and profitable. In Gail's replacement, we will seek independence, alongside transformational change management experience and skills to support the Board during this next phase."
